3rd Zebrafish Neuroscience Workshop

To develop zebrafish models and high throughput screening methods targeting neurodegenerative diseases, brain injury and disorders, we formed a Zebrafish Neuroscience Collaborative (ZNC) network in 2013. In 2014, we received $2.6 million funding from Brain Canada Foundation and its partners to establish Z-BRAIN Drug Screening Platform for in vivo drug screening on zebrafish embryos of these neurological diseases.

As a retreat of this research group, the Z-BRAIN team organized two zebrafish neuroscience workshops in 2015 and 2017, which were associated with the ZPPM conference of the year.

The Brian Canada grant completed its mission on May 31, 2018. However, Z-BRAIN members and a number of international zebrafish neuroscientists would like to continue this workshop and expand it further to the international research community. We welcome PIs, trainees, and ZPPM attendees to attend this workshop, and look forward to the academic interactions. Please note a separate registration is needed for this workshop.
